The Super Spa
Kohler’s onset into designing luxurious home spa products essentially began in 1980, when the company unveiled The Super Spa, a spacious and durable acrylic soaking unit that comfortably sat six to eight people.
Considered a Practical Alternative to a Swimming Pool
Hailed as a new dimension in gracious living and a practical alternative to a swimming pool, the spa featured lumbar support, directional whirlpool jets, and multiple air inlets for the ultimate hydromassage. The heart of Super Spa was its energy-efficient support system that controlled air and water for bubbly action, water temperature, as well as filtering a recirculating water.
Wait…there’s more – the Super Spa Table constructed of teakwood with a stainless-steel railing was the perfect accessory. The table featured a column to stand firmly or could also float freely and was versatile for playing backgammon on game night or enjoying hors d’oeuvres and beverages during social hour.
