Kohler brought verve and convenience to the home’s leisure space with an influx of colorful bar sinks – including the Gibson and Gimlet that launched in 1975. The Gibson sink offered a spacious basin of 25-by-15 inches and cool features such as a handy hardwood cutting board, and three integrated garnish cups in stainless steel and 24 carat gold finishes for accoutrements such as lime slices, olives, and cherries. The diminutive Gimlet bar sink, while being a space saver, was highly functional for bar tasks such as rinsing fruit and washing glassware. The self-rimming sinks provided quick and clean installation, and their durable acrylic material featured a stylish, high-gloss finish that was stain resistant.
